This is good to hear. So it seems that we're only talking about specific units that have this problem.

I have to say I chickened out and ended up ordering a K11 today. The SMSL DO400 and/or various Topping offerings as well as the Eversolo Z8 looked interesting, but with the exception of Z8, they are only available via Amazon here, and making warranty claims seems to be a hassle. Also, I have spent a whole lot of time research amps/dac combos in various price brackets, but since I can't really testdrive any dac/amp with my headphones locally, I'd have to order based on reviews, and this already didn't work out once.
