My friend has beats by dre and is very unsatisfied with them.  I told him to try to get some better quality ones (beyerdynamic, sennheiser, AKG, Audio techinica) but he insists they're too big or not cool looking enough.  He now insists on getting Sms by 50.  I tried to tell him it would be about the same thing as beats but he thinks because the beats had so many problems that sms would fix them.  Imho your paying half of the price tag for the rappers name.  ANYWAY any thoughts on how you think they are gonna be.
 
 
He listens to hip hop drives from an ipod and likes full sized closed headphones.  Price range is from (200-300)
