I guess I'm not the first to do this but I didn't find any thread here about is so here goes:

Using the pleader pads on the akg k340 I don't get a tight seal so the bass leaks quite a bit. What I did was adding some TP between the pleader and the plasic making the pad a bit fuller (got a padjob so to speak

), this works quite good!

Don't get me wrong, I'm a strong believer in the virtues of TP.
Where it belongs, naturally.
I usually don't apply it to the head.

Just kidding, man, I've recently done something similar to my W5000s.
