I am wondering if such a thing exists.
Naturally, I want better sound than what I can get from the run-of-the-mill USB gaming headset, so I have purchased a dedicated set of headphones.
I am looking for an alternative to a boom mic, because it just seems like a hideous mess of wires and, honestly, tackiness.
The mic on my iMac responds very well regardless of where I am sitting. When I record myself and play it back, I don't hear much, if any, background noise, and my voice is always sounds clear.
There must be some type of mic I can either mount to my monitor or in some inconspicuous spot in order to avoid having to use a boom mic that attaches to the headphones themselves.
