Anybody else experiencing slow cable service through COX in Orange County?

I'm averaging about 50kbit/s during downloads and often it takes literally minutes for anything to happen.

I'm considering dropping the service and go back to dial-up unless there's a technical problem on my end.

How long has it been slow?
Better indication is how are your TV pics.
(especially at the lower channels)

I have cox cable in the newport beach area and the cnet bandwidth test reads 2000+ kbps. It depends on how many cable users are within your area since everyone shares the same bandwidth. if ti becomes a real problem, see if dsl is available in your area.
