Would it sound "off" or mostly like the HD650? I don't want to buy the 650s but it would be cool to have some 650 drivers in some lesser headphones, thanks

Thanks for the reply, but I'm pretty sure the hd580s are the same shape and size as the hd600/650s so the 598 may be harder? :/

The only question I have at the moment is, did Sennheiser themselves try it at some point?  The hypothetical HD698?
