Hey guys,  this is my first post on this forum, So I recently made a mobile audio setup with a iphone 4,  fiio e18 Dac/Amp and a pair of CustomArt molded IEM's and now its time to move on to my pc setup.  I am planning to get a Aune T1 mk2 for the amp,  but I am stuck for the headphones.  I want a open headphone design because I heard that they are great for gaming,  but I dont know whats good?  and I am on a smaller budget.  I also need to keep it looking sharp and sleek since I want my hole gaming setup to look like a studio of some sort.  What do you guys suggest ?

Thanks

The Aune T1 MK2 uses a USB input and USB bypasses sound card features, like headphone surround sound.
Some games seem to do their own surround sound processing, so USB would be ok, just do not know which games.

What is your over all budget for DAC & amp & headphones?

Not sure what that means. If you mean an audio studio? That usually involves powered monitors to give it that look.

Something simple like this,  but without the Macbook pro.  the budget is around 400$ to 500$

I'm think as you already have an E18, you can use what with your computer and spend your audio budget for headphones.
Headphone wise, there is the Audio Technica ATH-AD900X headphones ($170 shipped from Japan, eBay)

Audio Technica ATH-W1000X headphones, they are closed, but the cups are big.
Here is a used one for $316

I own 20 headphones and the W1000X are the ones I usually use.
