Proved that despite its huge size the CD3000 can be shoved down one's throat.

Well as many of you are aware, I have a confession to make, I'm not a huge fan of these mass market CD cases, I'm more worried sometimes in preserving the integrity of my CD collection, than anything else, and that includes the proper care of the media (CDs, DVDs, etc...themselves) Unfortunately for me, I had in the past a lot of bad experiences with such kind of products, and mainly I have being using them for software now, instead of the music CDs, which insertion and removal is a lot less than the music CDs...

Well the other day I saw a thread in which one of our members (Quinoa), gently was offering a free gift certificate for the 40 CD Slappa case, and as by coincidence, I recently have gotten a new car, and I need a case to keep my CDs in the car, I said, what the heck let's give those guys a shot, and I ordered the 40 CD case in Camel finish, to match the interior decoration of the car which is pretty similar...

Guys, I was really amazed when I received it, those guys have taken so much effort and dedication in the manufacture and design of those devices, that IMO each of them is a truly state of the art piece, and it is really hard to believe anything better for such a price, and even for three times as much. The manufacture is simply top notch, and their pages are so delicate and gentle with the CDs, as the material used is very soft and even strong at the same time, another feature or detail was the pocket for the inserts of the CDs, a very nice touch, and they include also a cloth to wipe the CDs, a nice touch, for all of us, the anal guys with the CDs, and what about the black pouch to insert the whole case???
I strongly suggest guys that if you have the need of use such devices, give them a shot, you will thank yourselves for such decision later, honestly....Kudos for those guys, and two thumbs up and a toe, for the Slappa crew!!!!!

And kudos also for the kindness of this community, that was really nice from Quinoa this free offer, that is what makes this community such a really nice place to hang around....

I would like to encourage all the Slappa users to share the experiences here in this thread, i want to know your opinion about those wonderful cases.....

Slappa is the best. I use 2 of their 120/240 CD cases and one of their large DVD cases.

slappa rules! i won a 120/240 cd case and a 40/40 dvd case from one of their giveaways. I have my whole library alphabetized on the cd case, and i've repetively inserted back and forth to see if i can scratch it with the casing, and it doesnt leave a single scratch! Vive la slappa!

the slappa 40 DVD case sucked up all my DVDs, which means there are no more DVD cases for my kid to target, open, and smash. he's too young to figure out the zipper if he ever gets hold of the case itself, and he can't make a dent in it no matter how he tosses it around. it's a baby saver!

Just thought I'd share my Slappa experience. I recently recieved my Graphite 80/160 purchased with my $25 gift certificate. This thing is AMAZING! I love it, and it looks really nice as well. All my CD's are tucked away safely and I no longer fear misplacing any strown about in my room or car. One thing though, Slappa threw in this square drawstring bag, is this to put the case in I'm assuming? I just slipped the case in, pulled the drawstring shut, and threw it in the closet for storage...I figure the bag makes a pretty decent dust cover!

I got a Slappa 40 CD case for my PCDP and filled it with MP3 discs for travel before I got my Karma. Have another with CDA's in the car.
Great cases . . . . I love the way they cuddle your discs against that soft fabric, just like swattling a baby

Greatest CD case I have ever owned. Besides, with a name like "Hardbody" what girl can resist??

Well a litle update after almost 9 months of use, this CD case is so good and so well done that I have no need of replace any CD yet, not even a single scratch on them, and over this the manufacture is top notch, not only to the look, also is really durable, not evne a single stitch is missing yet, or not evne a single piece of plastic is damaged, ruined or broken, I have used it as daily basis for nine months...iti s actually like new....Kudos for those guys...honestly!!!

I posted a thread on this at one point... long story short, I got one of their original cases (they're supposed to be even better now) and love it... gotta get a bigger one soon, I keep putting it off.

I've been wanting a new cd case and these look really nice. My old case logic is falling apart and is too small and has been scratching my discs. I'm thinking about the 240 or 360 cd case and the 40/40 dvd case.

Yup they're the best. Have been using mine for almost a year, and it still looks brand new. Dont think my CDs can get any happier than this.

Thought I'd resurrect this thread as I've just got two 240 cases in camel. These things are bloody marvellous. At £35.00 per case, a real bargain for their quality, looks and usefulness.
Utterly superb.

Another two cases should do it

do any of you find these cases too bulky? i just have the case logic cases and even my full 336 cd book doesn't seem half as bulky as the slappa. i'm curious because ideally i'd like to consolidate into one booklet as caselogic doesn't have anything bigger.
