I just set up a new 1200GR. (Fantastic price on B&H now FYI - $350 off plus 10% store cash back).
The cuing feels crude, but that's been discussed a lot on line.
I'm posting b/c the start/stop button fees flimsy to me. It has some play, it lacks positive action that you get on the Hanpin clones.
Is this just the way they are? It's been over 30 years since I last used 1200s (also SL-15s) so don't really recall.
Incidentally, the deck sounds fantastic. I'm entirely happy with the SQ and don't regret not shelling out for a G.
