I've gotten around to demo quite a few Skullcandy headphones and while some are gimmicky like Skullcrushers or the new Crushers I find them not to be terribly overpriced compared to Monster and Bose. Their lower end models ($30-$100) in all honestly are not too bad. Obviously you can get better for around $100. If they really wanted to put in effort and make decent headphones they could, like the Aviators. At around $80 now they're certainly better or equal to the $200-$300 Bose noise canceling headphones or anything in the Beats line-up although the new studios are an improvement I'll give them that. My point here is I don't think they deserve all the hate they get around here. And yes I've heard other headphones..
