Today was Brooklyn's Sirenfast 2005. It was a free outdoor rock concert at Brighton Beach (last stop of Q train). Most bands were not famouse, so it was a good way to find out about new bands. I had a lot of fun there... Did anyone else go there? Or atleast heard of it?

i was planning on going, but i went to the free yo la tengo and stephen malkmus concert in battery park on independence day and wasn't really up for another free concert in new york after the lines i experienced there. also, the weather yesterday wasn't so great...at least in jersey.

i did go last year and really enjoyed a lot of it. but, the bands did seem better then. notably, blonde redhead, the fiery furnaces, and tv on the radio.

the weather kinda sucked at around 12pm, but after 1, it was 90+ and VERY sunny. i even burned my neck
