Thank you very much!!! I noticed that there is something like a transparent glue on the screws of the board. Is it just a mark from the factory?Get the isolators from www.digikey.com

I never experienced that effect with my LKS 004. Sorry I can't help.Hi
My SU-6 creates a very loud pop noise only when connected to DAC via I2S (Gustard X26 pro, or Benchmark DAC-2), whenever the music starts to play or right after the music stops. Essentially, the noise pops when the front panel "Play" light goes from OFF to ON, or ON to off.
No such noise if it is connected via USB, AES, COAX....
Any idea?
Thanks in advance to the Experts!
I am not sure about the firmware version on my unit, but I will check tonight. If you don't mind, can you tell me yours?I never experienced that effect with my LKS 004. Sorry I can't help.
Du you use the latest firmware?
YES, and it can even get a lot better with some mod'sI am not sure about the firmware version on my unit, but I will check tonight. If you don't mind, can you tell me yours?
It is a shame, because the sound from the I2S connection is so obviously superior.
no tickling........YES, and it can even get a lot better with some mod's![]()
Please try a different HDMI Cable, and use a linear power supply. So, I ordered a SU6 AFTER I read this thread. I had a SDA6 and returned it (and with partial store credit I got SU6) after finding it harsh sounding even after 500 hours of plug in time but maybe only 50 hours of actual play time. Now, after reading this thread that I think SDA6 perhaps needed more play time and that I will have a long wait for the SU6 to fully burn in. Funny, my SU2 didn't require any burn in time. It sounded great the instant I connected it to the D90. D90 didn't require any burn in time either. I will be powering the SU6 with a 50va lpsu with dual output. So, SU6 and a Matrix Element H will share the LPSU. Amp should be about 2 or 2.5?
Anyways, the conversation seem to have died down during the past few weeks regarding this DDC... it has been out for over 2 yrs afterall...
