Aha, the zip link I listed about has a Readme.txt, called "Update Instructions"
1.only for Singxer F-1,support DSD512 in native.
2.Do not upgrade any other XMOS device,including SINGXER other XMOS device.
if this firmware use for update SU-1,it will be a brick.do not try it.
3.V2.20 update for V2.00;
V2.22 update for V2.02.
I hope you know what that means

I'm looking at Singxer history to decide if I want to get their current SA-1 AMP, and maybe their SDA-6 DAC. I had been dabbling with the idea of using their Digital interface at one point, but wth why not get the follow on DAC with all the goodies built-in?
