What would be a right source to use with a USB DAC (like HRT Music streamer II), as a part of a portable rig? It should play lossless, it should not have an expensive internal DAC since I want to bypass it anyway, and, again, it should have the USB host functionality; that's pretty much all that's needed from the device... Is there such a basic thing?

Yes, thaks a lot - I saw this; maybe I will end up doing it. I just thought of something simpler and cheaper (no subsidized phones in my country, unfortunately).
