Simple, reversible mod for GS-1000

hmm, what a difference this makes... the gs1k is my go to hp for classicals... but now,
it really is a different animal for rock with this simple but clever idea, thanks to the OP.
vocals are much more intimate and fuller. i'm not sure what's going on but the sizzle
at top is also diminished with pop/rock recordings... is the mid covering the top now?
i did what gusensei suggested, just the front side is pushed down.

I'm going to try this mod, using the bagel pads on the HF-2.
