I have re-discovered my love for the ER-4P's by switching to the foamies over the tri-flange tips. I find they are more comfy and my earwax tends not to kill the filters. However, these are now somewhat grungy-looking after a lot of wear, can the foamies be washed? (I do have several more pairs)

I wash mine in warm water with dish soap then let dry while I install a newly cleaned pair. I find that I can wash them many times(5~6??) before they begin to deteriorate beyond usability.

I don't use mine a lot (6~8 hours per week) and I wash after around 20 hours.It depends on how waxy your ears get I guess...I don't have problems with that.

I put them in a small amount of hydrogen peroxide. The wax comes straight off with barely any effort and then I just let them dry.
