So I have the money for ether one, I think both will be fine for all round use and even though the AytH might be more "fun".

What would be better for my small head.

I am guessing the KRKs and I am thinking they might sound have a more neutral SIG as well as that's what I am looking for.

headphone size wise my krk 8400 are smaller (fit my girlfriends head while my m50s slide off when she moves too much)

soundwise i prefer the m50 due to being a slight bass head. but the krk 8400 have a different sound signature more clean imo.
 
 you are correct on the m50 being more "fun" sounding if that helps ;] (krk is more comfortable deeper cups and lighter htough) (m50s are built like.. tanks hard to break. but hte krk are holding up really well too)
