Will a DAC that only accepts a 16bit signal work with a EMU 1212m? The DAC is a heavily modded Parasound 1500 with PCM63s.

No it wont work. Now where's this ad for Parasound DAC? I may be interested. Kidding. haha It will work. It'll just ignore the other bits if you send it more.
