I recently purchased the SR60 for use with my iPod. I was wondering if using a Sik Din + CMoy Amp will improve the sound quality.

yes, about the most cost effective upgrade is to bypass the iPod's headphone out. The main benefit will be deeper, stronger bass. The iPod's headphone out is very weak when presented with any kind of load.

I second warpdriver's opinion. The improvement is very substantial!

(This was when my iPod wasn't broken!

) Huge bass improvement. Surprisingly richer and fuller sounding mids as well.

it's not ABSOLUTELY necessary with that combo, but putting a line out and amp in the chain never hurts!

Furthermore, what's the difference between the Sik Din and the Sik Ram?

The difference is the terminal plug. Get the Ram because it has a male plug that can fit in your CMoy.
