Hey all,

I finally got the xformer I've been waiting on from Avel Lindberg (great price!) and have wired everything up. The board seems to be working well except the output voltage hovers around 10.8V (unloaded) and I used the parts spec'd for +- 15V. I used a 10k resistor for R10 and the 7.5V diode. Is this normal? What should I be checking?

You need to describe how you wired up the transformer (primary and secondary), and whether the secondary AC voltage is what you expect. A photo may be helpful. By the way, there is a σ22 thread on headwize, I suggest using that venue instead of starting a new thread here or elsewhere, because the info may be helpful to others when everything is in one place.

The Sigma22 design/build thread is very active at Headwize and very closely monitored by Amb, the S22 creator. It helps everyone if they know where to look for answers by going to that thread - someone else may have the same problem as yours.

Suggest you post your question on Headwize in the Sigma22 thread.

just my opinion - I'm no moderator or anything ...
EDIT: OK, Amb beat me to it.
