Hi,

Not sure if this is the right place. Just wanted to report that I saw the new Shures at the Futureshop in Toronto (North York) to be exact.

$79/$249 respectively. Did not see the 440's.

the 440s can be bought for $100. Though I heard employee discount on the 840 comes out to be $150. This needs to be verified.

I heard cost was $95 for the 840's, this definitely needs to be confirmed.

hrmm indeed, for $100 bucks I would definitely pick up a pair of 840s

Edit: I found this link, the OP works for bestbuy (USA) and states that he can get the shures for ~150USD :clicky

I saw the SRH440 for $100 at one of the B&Ms here. Another one didn't have it at all, and Best Buy didn't have anything of the sort. I suppose it depends on the store. No SRH240/840.

No idea where you can get 840 earpads though; Shure won't ship them to me. I'd have to go through Headphone Solutions, but shipping's expensive. Maybe I could work out a slower, cheaper method if I asked.

I asked for help through the forum for someone from the US to order some covers a while back and paid for some of their costs so they could get a deal as well. In the end I save at least $20 by doing this and helped another member out in the process.
