Shure SRH1840 - a few thoughts

I have heard srh1540 and srh1840 are power hungry and srh1840 more...when srh1840 powered properly, it gets even bassier than srh1540. For me bass is ok. Lack of visceral impact of srh1840 is good for non-fatiguing experience.

LPGT has a decent amp section. I am really enjoying SRH1840.

Listening time. LPGT as a source is growing on me.

I really like srh1840 sounds. They have unique feeling that I can't explain and I have'nt that feeling with another shure product. I did not try so called hi-end, totl, end game headphones. I don't know what they sound like. I like the feeling of that headphone. I like the 10hz frequency feeling that I do not hear with srh1540. And this headphone relaxes me much. Tiredness, some kind of headache and dizziness disapper %95 in 30 minutes whatever you listen. İt's more than a headphone. İt's therapy.

In my opinion, $500 headphones and $4000 headphones can change places with what is someone's favorite.

Also it's quite joy to listen some birds sounds and cat purring.

Shure 1840 have been around for a long time, but I regret not having heard them before, because this is the sound I was looking for and found. Impeccable sound across the entire frequency range, very accurate bass and great mids, if they had a little extension on the sub-bass they would be just perfect headphones. But the 1840 is unrivaled even as is, ATX M70x and AKG K612 are not far behind them, but is noticeable. Just the price for 1840 is not very good:rolling_eyes:
