Let's say you have a shure earphone that has a serial number of 1590, what date was it made?

i believe the first two numbers are the week they were made and the last two numbers represents the year

so yours would be the 15th week of 1990???

I'm gonna have to disagree. Mine say 1945 and I think Shure was making headphones (at least e3c's) in '45.

So my SE215's say 0102 on them. Would that be the 10th day of 2012? (They didn't make this model in 2002)
