Hi. I'm in the market for a replacement cable for my SE846 iem's. I'm currently using the shorter clear cable and it is in dire need of replacement. I've never had cause to buy replacement cables before as I've never kept them long enough to need it so this is a first for me. I'm in the UK and Shure want £50 for the EAC46 replacement. I've no problem with spending the money, but I'm pretty sure if I'm going to be spending that amount then I can get a much better aftermarket one. I've checked ebay and there seems to be thousands of cheap replacements but I'm guessing they are just that, cheap. I've also checked the SE846 thread here but now it's up to 1200 pages or so it isn't easy to find the relevant information. Hence I'm looking for suggestions. My requirements are it should be approx 1.2m, have a right angled 3.5mm plug and I really do want to keep the internal ear hooks if possible. Thank you in advance.
