Hi Everyone,
I have a pair of Shure SE530s with the commonly known cable fault - although they are not actually cracking, the sound is failing intermittently in one channel and the cable has a 'crinkled' effect on the outer coating.
The were originally purchased July 2008, and replaced under warrantly September 2009 for this fault. Under two years later I'm hitting the same problem despite having looked after this pair as carefully as possible (using the case provided every time I detached them).
Can anyone advise me whether I will get a decent response from Shure to replace them given this is obviously down to a manufacturing fault? Any tips from people who've had success with replacement outside warranty would be especially appreciated.
Thanks in advance for any help!
