Hey,
So I've had these for a good 8 months now, sufficient to say I don't treat them as they should be treated. I use them for everything, commuting, exercise etc.
A week ago, I plugged them in only to find that the right channel had no sound. I cleaned out a little of the wax that had accumulated above the filter, the sound came back but it is not on par with the left channel. I can only describe it as muted and lacking soundstage.
I was offered a replacement from shure for $240, to be honest, I'm not keen to shell out another $200+ on headphones.
As it stands they're pretty well useless, I don't mind performing surgery as a last resort.
Is peroxide an option? what do you think?
Thanks
