Dear esteemed enthusiasts:

I'm looking to upgrade my current favorite pair of earphones, the Shure SE210 and I'm hoping for recommendations. I'm overall pretty happy with the sound signature of the SE210s (warm, but not too warm), and the imaging is pretty good. I have much better-sounding earphones (my Sennheiser IE80 tops the list) but what keeps me coming back to the SE210s is the ergonomics; the SE210s fit perfectly into my outer ear canal, with the cable running up vertically behind my tragus, giving me great isolation and comfort, even when laying down. What I'd like is an upgrade pick (similar fit, better imaging, more detail, less harsh on the high end). I've tried the new line of Shure earphones, but I find them less comfortable due to the rigidity of the MMCX connection and increased size (I bought and returned the SE535). At this point, the only option I can think of is to buy a pair of used SE420s or SE530s off eBay. I'm posting here in the hope that someone can recommend me something else.

Thanks in advance,

TheScientist
