Hi,
I'd like your general opinions. Sent in my IE8 for servicing recently, and got both the PL30s and shure SE102. The Shure SE102 I got it at half price.
I have given it some time, and I still can't seem to appreciate them. If feels as if the sound quality is lacking a component to make it cohesive. I do not have this issue with the 10-hr burned in PL30s. The Shures are working alright, I'm pretty sure of that. It's just that to my ears, it sounds tinny, and the bass is weak.
I'm undecided on selling the Shures off, because I'm not sure if it is fully burned in.
Any advice?
