Hi. I recently got my used SHURE SE846 in the mail. But guess what.. Came with no filters and no nozzle tool.

The nozzle collar was done up hand tight. When i unscrewed it i saw nothing in there... Disappointing. Why oh why would you even do this...

I have had a listen to them as is with no filters and its not great. Of course they were not intended to operate like this. The bass is pretty average and the treble is a bit high... I have no idea what real SE846 sound like frown.gif

I am only chasing the blue or black inserts down.

If any one can help i would appreciate it. You might know some one who lost a pair and still have some filters lying around or someone that does not use all the filters...

Here is a link to what can help me.

Thank you for your time.

I'm guessing these were the ones off Gumtree recently, I was also interested in them but was turned off because the seller had no idea about the 846's and said that they were a gift from a cousin, and because there were no filters of course. Addicted to Audio has replacements I believe.

Haha yeah they were. I got a similar story. They were a gift etc. I was told they would be with at least one filter... Unfortunately they didnt even come with that. I have contacted addicted to audio already. That piece is the nozzle it self and not the filters. They have told me it will be pretty costly haha.

I'll keep trying here before I commit to that.

Thanks for the input!

@cthomas

Nah the price is for the metal nozzle shown in the picture.

The 3 filters come in a canister looking thing with the tool attached to it which is around $200!!

I will try asking on reddit!!

Thanks!
