Hi, everyone. I had my 420s go out about two years ago and have been using a pair of able planet nc180b which are okay but I have finally decided that I can't put up with them anymore. I'd like to spend around $150 for my new pair but I am willing to spend more if it really is worth it. I listen to a little if everything with a little more emphasis on reggae and Jam rock but really it can be anything from  John Mayer to Skrillex. Right now I am leaning towards the GR07 but there are so many different options I am still open to any suggestions.

So after much more research I have settled on either the Rockit sounds r-50 or the TDK BA-200. They are the same price at the moment on Amzon. Is one way better then the other or are they just different in sound signatures?

Went ahead and got the BA-200 as all the reviews I read said they were some of the best value at 150-180 I couldn't pass up on them at 120. Will report back on how they sound once I get a chance to listen to them.
