I'm one of those Head-Fiers eagerly awaiting the release of the Shure E4c earphones even though I haven't yet fully committed to either Shure or its Ety counterpart.

Out of curiosity, I was wondering if any Head-Fiers know when the E2c, E3c and E5c earphones were released?

TIA,

Igor

Did some quick googling:

E2c: October 15, 2002
E3c: December 5, 2003
E5c: Sometime before July 10, 2003, after E1c and E2c. (Couldn't find anything specific. Wonder why this was so hard to find...)

That's all I could find. It's surprisingly hard to find the release date of the e5c and e1c.

What I would like to know is when they first said they would release those canalphones. I suppose they might have met their initial estimate on those because they were less anticipated & had less pressure on them to spit them out. It seems whenever gets popular its production & development processes start slowing down, no mater how wonderfully fast they was originaly.

Yes I know I just said was..
