May have been already answered but i tried searching. Anyway, what is the cheapest way of purchasing the shure e500 new in the UK. I have found them for £230 on amazon but it would be nice if i could get them cheaper from somewhere. Does anyone ship from America to the UK?

On a side note - are these a big noticeable difference from my current e4c?

He's quite a reliable seller. I've purchased from him before and no import duties!

E500 vs E4c: biggest difference is more bass and overall lusher sounding.

thanks for that, although i do wonder if after shipping and potential customs i would be better of simply buying from amazon. Has anyone ever asked shure if they could upgrade when sending another set of earphones in for repair? from an e4c in my case.
That would be perfect but im not sure if they would do it.

The probability of getting hit by customs is low as long as the package is properly marked with a low value and accurate description.

As for your second question: I really doubt it.

yup, even though the parcel huge like HD650, if the item mark with low value(below $100), customs usually will not charge tax
