Hi,
I'm a new poster in these forums, but I've been reading for awhile now. I currently own shure e4's and have been thinking about upgrading. Currently Amazon (through TigerDirect) has e500 for $280 and se530 for $250. It's not as nice as the fry's deal (for those of you that missed it like me), but it still doesn't seem bad. It says there's only 3 left. Just wanted to let you all know since your posts/reviews have been very helpful to me in the past.

I just checked and amazon has the e500's for $277.99 (new, from Tiger Direct), the e5c for $389.99 (new, from Electronica Direct), and the SE530's are $449.99 (from J&R). Are these the same or not? It sure seems a bargain for the e500's but I always wonder when things look too good to be true (taking a chance if not an authroized Shure dealer). Thanks.

Get the E500, you won't regret.
