Hey,
I just purchased a total bithead because I was tired of the sound quality of my laptop. (macbook) I have Shure E4cs and was wondering if these were worth amplifying, will they benefit at all from an amp? I figure the higher quality dac would make a difference atleast. I Hope its not like I am filling a 1992 ford taurus with 91 octane fuel.

Imo the E4 is worthy. The TBH will not be wasted on them I don't think(although I've never heard a TBH). Do a comparison between the Macbook HP out and the TBH using its DAC and it should be obvious...atleast it is with my portable amp/DAC and PC laptop HP out.
