My shure E4g's left channel had big problems ( maybe wire problem ), so I send it to for warranty replacement and got E4c's. In a week, I spotted another problem which isn't critical but it annoys me a lot since E4g didn't have this kind of issue.

I assume this isn't normal? I wonder what they look like in 2 years..
It looks like this wire worns out pretty quickly.. It isn't dirt.

It looks like what you're seeing is the white outer coating wearing off to reveal the black rubber underneath, so relax.

To me this seems to be pretty ridiculous. With so little use and in so short period of time they look like this.

Should I feel relaxed if black wires/parts would turn white or gray (at the price I don't consider low at all)? I would not, and I feel the same with these wires/parts turning into dark gray.

My meizu M6 external battery pack's wire/parts are pretty much same colour as E4c's was as new. It has gone through much more (hell) compared to my E4c's and it's still looking as good as new. So, this troubles me a lot.
