oh, and i use the small foamies, and small ultra-softs. However, I can also use the medium ultra-softs, though they are less comfortable. So, basically get the same size you wear now, but you may be able to wear larger. I would not expect anyone to wear smaller ultra-softs than foamies or flexes.
