Yeah, that's not a bad price. I don't think you will find too many single driver IEMs for that cheap, decent ones anyway. There are some better ones around $60 or $70, but for $40 it's not a bad deal. The e2c were my first pair of good IEMs, and I liked them initially, until I got a pair of SF5pro. Big difference between $40 and $200 though.
I'd say go for it, but you might want to wait until you hear more opinions from others. They just don't have very much bass. Also, you should check on amazon.com for any special sale prices. Amazon.com always has some great deals on headphones. I bought my two pair of full-size cans from them.
