I emailed shure about them and attached the pics posted on this thread to the email and that is what they replyed with.

I like the Black Olives a lot. The perfect balance between a regular foamie and silicone tips.

They are easily cleanable too like silicones.

Early ones were rather uncomfortable for extended wearing, but the newer ones (the ones that were at the '06 Nat'l Meet) were more comfortable.

I'm sure there is going to be further tweaking, but the Black Olives are going to be my favorite ear tip.
