Well, I'm finally getting around repairing some old 530s. I just got off the phone with Shure, and they said since they've been discontinued, it will cost a $240. I didn't even have a chance to tell him what was damaged -- he just blurted out it will be $240 USD as if he didn't even want to deal with it.
So, what do you all think I should do? One of the nozzles is broken. The manufacturing date is 0799, so I assume that they are technically still within warranty as it doesn't expire until next month (I bought them early last year I think, but can't find the receipt).
Thoughts?
