hey, ive seen the Shure SE215 in stores named both as shure se215 BK and se215 K.
 
is there a difference?

As far as I know, the BK comes with a phone adapter cable while the K is a newly designed version that comes with a dynamic micro driver. Hope this helps!

I am unaware if it is an older version (perhaps a quick search on Google would tell you that), but I would assume that differences are very minor. I wouldn't worry about it if I were you.

Just the mic. No sound differences whatsoever.
