I've just discovered that my 1GB shuffle connected to Sharp MD33 earbuds with the 4-3 pole adapter cable has fantastic synergy! There is none of hte over-boomy one note bass of the EX71/81 earbuds, and the mid-range is very clear. I have just been listening to a variety of tracks ranging from NIN "With Teeth" album to KT Tunstall, and the combination is consistently communicative. Anyone else tried this combo?

the md33 sounds good with almost anything.

they are also very efficient, so they are ideal for portables.

In general, would you confirm that your MD33 + Shuffle > MD33 + iPOD in sound quality?
