It's a great all arounder. It reminds me of the monk but more clear.

Golov is right, just the Zen 2 (or Asura 2) can be used without foams. In fact foams provide a better fit and make a major difference on bass mid-bass. Just check this graphic with Zen 2 and Zen 1 without foams by @Brooko:



Using it without foams the effect will be very similar to orange line on graphic like 99% of earbuds on the market.

Does anyone know the official/claimed frequency response of the Cygnus? I can't find it anywhere, it doesn't even seem like it is written on the box or the Shozy official site. You would think they would at least tell us directly.

or if not the graph at least just the frequency response range? is it 20-20 or does it go below 20 in the sub bass region


It does not go below 20hz. It has good bass bud not really any sub bass. I love the Cygnus for electronic music, which is rare for earbuds because of the bass issue.
