Yes, and I felt the sting of the costs of these things also! But I hope to have the "smurf" look someday (I think the Cardas Golden References are blue aren't they???)

Kuma- what are your blue cables???

If my memory serves me, CGR were darkish grey.
The cabling I use is mixture of CCC ( Creative Cable Concept ), CPCC ( Custom Power Cord Company ), NBS and Siltech.
