Wife walks Willie at 4 MPH pace for an hour 30% woods.
My son takes him to the woods (variety of two) 45 min at noon.
I take Willie to woods (selection of four different) 5 days a week for :45. The other days to the dog park.
Also 1/2 acre backyard with 15' tunnel, big kiddie pool. A raised dog house. A big shed he tunnels under. And a massive boulder 8 x 14 x 6 that he climbs and surveys his domain. A dog door he uses often.

Yeah.... At home when he's not sleeping we are playing with him or hanging out and petting him. Our last guy was sort of stand offish so Willie hit the jackpot.
He's already bagged 3 squirrels and 2 bunnies. He stalks them quietly from his hiding spots. When he was 3 days old a red tailed hawk took a dive at him. After that failed he hung out for 8 more days in his two perches. Heard of this kind of thing but could barely believe it.
A guy who calls himself ”Frisbee Rob” & his dog “Sailor” set a world record last fall in Calgary, AB for the longest frisbee catch by a dog. It took place at half time during a CFL football game in Calgary. Absolutely Amazing !

I'm trying to keep my expectations in check, as we need to see how this litter's temperament develops. The mother is quite balanced, but the dad is a bit on the headstrong, aggressive side. We need a pup that doesnt display any dog aggression tendencies as well. Our female English Shepherd needs a big brother to play with, and not tear her to shreds. It's a balancing act.
The breeder has been breeding for twenty years and has a great rep. She understands what we are looking for in a pup and won't sell us a pup just to take our cash.
I have been working on finding us a good protection dog for years, and there is light at the end of the tunnel, just keeping my fingers crossed.
