Here is my home theater set-up with Denon's top speaker system. They are out of production now and were only sold in Japan as far as I know. I built the table and rack to match everything. The center speaker is hidden in a box to keep little fingers from poking at it and the sub is under the rack behind a screen for aesthetic purposes. I have the satellites as well which are not shown. My AV amp is the 3808. I had the DVD (3930) universal player as well but it got replaced by an Oppo Blu-ray player. Nice looking and great sounding equipment.

Wow, I definitely didn't think I'd ever find myself posting in the high-end forum, but I've come to resurrect this thread by posting a killer deal I snagged.
I grabbed a Denon DCD-815 20bit upsampling CD player today...for $4.97, in perfect working condition from Goodwill. I wasn't even shopping for a CD player (I was actually scrounging for a turntable), but at that price I couldn't pass it up. It doesn't have a remote control though, so I may have to hunt one down on ebay (did this actually have a remote, or only the 815G?)
I've only been listening for a few minutes, (and through my free-to-me technics speakers and my not-so-high-end Grado SR-60's) but it seems to be a very detailed sounding player, and my impression seems to match with what i've been reading of it being an almost analog-sounding player as well, with warm lows and mids, and shimmering (but not totally precise) highs.
So, here's my <$5 contribution to the high-end forum:

Still jealous of that set up. I desperately need a decent CD player. Considering an OPPO or modern Denon.

I'm pretty jealous of both of your headphones, so I'll just call us even.
We could always trade Denon for Denon, my DCD for your D7000, I'll even cover shipping for both of us!

You really need to attach some jitter-free cable to that. It'll improve the stand's balance.
