I'll take a wild guess and say he does as I know I do and you would be surprised how good a lot of iem's sound with desktop amps.

At home 70% of the time yes
Super clean and warm sounding.

Since I just got the R6 III it might change.

I use my RME ADI-2 DAC with IEMs all the time, but the A90 is a bit wild for IEMs I think

I had the Monolith THX and all my IEMs sound better with the RME only than with the RME+Monolith combo.

Yep, sometimes you can add too much and why we experiment until we find the sweet spot/setup

The topping A90 Discrete together with the E70 is a sublime pairing for my most headphones and IEMs, the low noise floor is insane, the Neon Pro is quite sensitive and even at 99% volume low gain I can not hear any noise. Sound is overall detailed, smooth and warm, my AKM DAC/AMP before were noisy, sharp and less musical.
