well, in that case, don't paint it. If it is JUST a commuter, beater, whatever, point A to point B car. Yeh no reason to paint. Not like my CRX, where there is nothing under $30k I would pick over it, and considering I don't want $30k worth of debt right now, keeping my CRX in top shape is worth the small investment compared to a monthly car payment, higher insurance, and taxes.

Right now my car is $12 a yr taxes, $219 per/6months insurance, and gets 34mpg. So, yeh, I'll keep it.
