The M-10 are out of stock but I am unsure how these would compare with the H2 + Subwoofer? I am upgrading from the Logitech 530 which I sorta don't enjoy. Should I just wait for the M-10 to go back in stock? I am after a balanced sound, the Logitechs I have are really bloated in the bass section and everything feels off.

Multimedia desktop speakers with tiny drivers in the $100 range are not the place to look for faithful sound reproduction.

You can do better than the Daytons if you are willing to go used on your local Craigslist. Or watch for the Pioneer SP-BS22 to on sale at Amazon or Best Buy.

Will let me basically hook up stereo speakers? I have a old set of Sony's from a long while ago that cost a bunch of money....maybe I should use those? It would be better then the M-10 I imagine? Didn't know this was possible, thanks for shedding light one that! O_O...
 
I'm guessing the amp in my Xonar DG would not be enough?

You'll need an amp. Yup, that's the right amp. 

 Find your old Sony speakers and try hooking them up to that amp. You'll have $24 invested and it should sound very good for nearfield use depending on the speakers.

I don't know anything about your Sony speakers, but the odds are you'll end up with a system that sounds way better than that Swan system for less money.

Amazon has that Lepai amp for just under $20. If you liked your old Sony speakers, you'll be very happy with what that money will get you

The Dayton subwoofers have their own amplifier. The Lepai doesn't power it.

I decided to go with the Pioneer Andrew Jones Designed SW-8MK2 Subwoofer and Pioneer Andrew Jones SP-BS22-LR Bookshelf Loudspeakers, so the Lepai LP-2020A+ would totally power them up fine? I know I am being overly worried but I don't want to end up with giant paper weights as I wait to save up for a better amp...anyone know for sure?

I decided to go with the Pioneer Andrew Jones Designed SW-8MK2 Subwoofer and Pioneer Andrew Jones SP-BS22-LR Bookshelf Loudspeakers.
 
I have this amp/reciever from long ago that still works, its the Sony STR- D350z, can't seem to find much info on it besides that it power output as 145+145 for 8 ohms and 190+190 for 4 ohms but would attaching a 3.5mm-to-RCA stereo cable do the trick better then that Lepai? I think it would....but unsure if anolog to digital losses quality.
 
One more question, is there a way to hook these up to both my computers and my HDTV(My TV: http://shop.panasonic.com/shop/model/TC-L32C3?t=specs), I can deal with just having it hooked up to both computers since I stream most stuff from my computer through XBMC but it would be nice for the occasional cable/360 session.

None of those amps will work with that Pioneer subwoofer because that Pioneer sub doesn't have speaker level outputs. If you want to use any of those amps, then you have to choose a subwoofer that has both speaker level inputs and outputs. That Pioneer sub does not have speaker level outputs.
 
Alternatively, if you do want to use that Pioneer sub, then you would need a different amplifier or receiver that has a dedicated sub output. If the amplifier or receiver has a dedicated sub output, then it's not necessary for the sub to have speaker level outputs.

Actually, he'll be fine if he doesn't mind using the computer digital controls to attenuate the volume. Just needs to split the left/right output from the computer and send it to the speaker and sub. Then configure the volume controls on the amp and sub with the volume on the computer set at 100%. Then use the computer volume controls from there. See post #4 in that other thread you linked to.

Well I use the Xonar DG, will that work well? I won't lose quality going this way and using the older Receiver in general?

I would stick with the older receiver you have for now until you can afford nicer amplification than something in the $20 to $30 range. I would not have high expectations $20 to $30 amplifiers to significantly improve on what you have now.
