Hi...I am desperate for a good earphone.

I am wondering if I should get the UM2 or wait for the Westone 3?

I am strictly using this with my Cowon IAudio U3 Player (all music encoded in FLAC).

I'd wait for the UM3's which are expected to debut some time this month.

I'm a very satisfied UM2 owner looking to upgrade to the UM3's pending on the reviews/feedback. That being said, your best bet is to hold your purchase until:
1) UM2's drop in price due to the release of the UM3
2) UM3's prove themselves to be superior in SQ compared to its predecessor.

I want the UM2s myself but I'm on a budget, so I'm waiting for the price drop. If you're on a budget, get the UM2s when the UM3s come out. If not, definitely get the UM3s and give us a detailed review ^_^

summer is for additional colors and maybe for the customs. the first prodution 3s are supposedly due out imminently, as per the manufacturer's thread.
