I just got my hd 598s and i am loving them, but has anyone heard them with an amp? I'm looking at getting the fiio e10 or the ibasso d-zero. Would there be a noticeable difference in audio quality?
Should I get an amp for the hd 598s?

The DAC itself would give a noticeable difference,and the amping wouldn't hurt either.

They are low impedance headphones, a portable amp its fine. Im using the E7 amp/dac.

I don't think an amp is essential but a EF2 would smooth out the treble and give them a bit more body. As stated by the others, a DAC would make the biggest difference.
